11:17 AM EDT, 10/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) is in advanced discussions to sell the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens to Henderson Park for $425 million, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing sources familiar with the matter.
The transaction values the resort at approximately $1.3 million per room, one of the sources reportedly told Bloomberg. The deal is not yet final, the report said.
The buyer plans to bring Salamander Hotels & Resorts onboard to manage the property, which includes six golf courses, 19 tennis courts, and a 40,000-square-foot spa, one source reportedly told Bloomberg.
Brookfield, Henderson Park and Salamander did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
Brookfield Asset Management ( BAM ) shares were up more than 2% in recent trading.
