03:08 PM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield (BN) has sought more time to complete its due diligence ahead of a possible bid to acquire Grifols ( GRFS ) , Reuters reported Monday, citing two sources with knowledge of the matter.

The Canadian private equity firm sent a letter to the company's board Monday reaffirming its interest in the business and asking for a few more weeks to complete the process, the people reportedly told Reuters.

Brookfield and Grifols ( GRFS ) did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
