12:49 PM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Brookfield Infrastructure Partners ( BIP/PA ) agreed to acquire internet service provider Hotwire Communications from Blackstone (BX) for $7 billion, including debt, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

An announcement is expected soon, the report said.

Brookfield and Blackstone didn't immediately respond to requests for comments from MT Newswires.
