02:40 PM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Carlyle (CG) is looking to raise at least 500 million Australian dollars ($324 million) either through bank debt or private credit to finance its acquisition of Waste Services Group, Bloomberg reported late Tuesday.
The investment firm, which is in exclusive talks to buy the Australian waste management company from Livingbridge EP for AU$1 billion, is evaluating its fund-raising options, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.
Carlyle did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
