07:15 AM EST, 12/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Carlyle Group ( CG ) is considering an initial public offering of engineering services firm Quest Global Services in India, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A Mumbai share offering of the Singapore-based company may take place as early as next year, aiming to raise roughly $1 billion while valuing the company at $5 billion, the report said, adding that the details may change.

Carlyle acquired a minority stake in Quest last year.

Carlyle did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
