02:40 PM EST, 02/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cheniere Energy (LNG) is in discussions with Indian Oil for a potential 15-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply agreement, Reuters reported Tuesday.

The talks involve Cheniere supplying between 1.5 million and 2 million metric tons of LNG per year starting in April 2027, the report said, citing an Indian Oil source

Cheniere did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment, while Indian Oil could not be reached for confirmation.
