10:27 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron ( CVX ) is working to increase natural gas supplies to Egypt, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing an interview with Freeman Shaheen, the company's president for global gas, at the Gastech conference in Milan.

Chevron ( CVX ), which runs two gas fields in Israel that help meet Egypt's demand, aims to deliver more piped gas to the North African country, Shaheen said, according to the report.

The US company also is considering supplies of liquified natural gas to Egypt, Shaheen said, according to the report.
