01:57 PM EDT, 10/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron ( CVX ) is in talks to sell its east Texas natural gas assets to Tokyo Gas in a deal that could be valued at up to $1 billion, the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing three people familiar with the discussions.

Chevron ( CVX ) and Tokyo Gas did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
