11:28 AM EDT, 09/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron ( CVX ) signed a deal with Israel's state-owned pipeline operator to begin construction of the Nitzana natural gas line to transport fuel from the Leviathan field to Egypt, Reuters said Tuesday, citing the US company.

The pipeline will transport about 600 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, once construction is completed in about three years, the report said.

Chevron ( CVX ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
