09:05 AM EST, 12/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron ( CVX )-led (CVX) Tengiz oilfield's production fell 10% to 719,800 barrels per day in December following a Ukrainian drone attack that damaged Russia's Black Sea exporting terminal, Reuters reported Monday, citing an industry source.
The Nov. 29 attack at the Yuzhnaya Ozereevka oil terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium disrupted Kazakhstan's oil exports, which declined about 6% in the period Dec. 1 to 28 compared with the November average, the report said.
The CPC Terminal handles about 80% of Kazakhstan's oil exports and is the loading point for oil produced from fields operated by Chevron ( CVX ), Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) , Eni (E), and Shell (SHEL), according to Reuters.
Chevron ( CVX ), Exxon Mobil ( XOM ), Eni, and Shell did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
