01:44 PM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron's ( CVX ) renewable diesel plant in Louisiana has resumed production after last month's fire, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing a company spokesperson.

Expansion work at the plant has also resumed and Chevron ( CVX ) is not expecting any impact to the project, the company's spokesperson reportedly said.

The plant, which can produce 90 million gallons per year, is undergoing an expansion that will boost annual output to 340 million gallons, according to the report.

Chevron ( CVX ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
