09:29 AM EDT, 04/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron's ( CVX ) Chevron Technology Ventures arm has launched a $500 million fund to invest in clean energy technologies, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing the company.

The Future Energy Fund III will build on the investments in clean technology by its two preceding funds, the report added, citing the venture unit.

Neither Chevron ( CVX ) nor Chevron Technology Ventures immediately responded to MT Newswires' request for comment.
