03:27 PM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) has appointed Michael Phipps as the head of its building-products investment banking division, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the details.

Phipps has been Truist Financial's ( TFC ) Managing Director and Head of Basic Industries Investment Banking at its Truist Securities unit since Nov. 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Neither Citigroup ( C ) nor Truist Financial ( TFC ) immediately responded to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
