01:39 PM EDT, 10/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) has formed a team of banking executives, including senior leaders from across the organization, Reuters reported Thursday, citing an internal memo.

The bank has also established an investment banking operational team, which will encompass all members of the banking executive team as well as global heads of investment banking sectors, the report said.

The adjustments are aimed at maintaining the appropriate framework and leadership to enhance client service and drive growth as the bank continues to invest in its business, Citi's head of banking Vis Raghavan reportedly said in the memo.

Citigroup ( C ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Citigroup ( C ) shares fell more than 1% in recent trading.
