Market Chatter: Citigroup to Continue Work From Home Policy
Feb 4, 2025 1:27 PM

04:06 PM EST, 02/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Citigroup ( C ) plans to continue its work-from-home two days a week policy for most employees, the Financial Times reported Tuesday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.

The decision was reportedly announced by company CEO Jane Fraser during a quarterly call with US managing directors in mid-January.

Citigroup's ( C ) policy contrasts with rivals and the Trump administration, which are pushing for more in-office work, and follows Fraser's earlier promises to allow flexible working arrangements, according to the Financial Times.

Despite an official three-day office schedule, some investment bankers report feeling pressure to work onsite nearly four days a week, the media outlet reported.

Citigroup ( C ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
