07:25 AM EDT, 08/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Hong Kong's CK Infrastructure Holdings has dropped out of the bidding race for National Grid's ( NGG ) Grain liquefied natural gas terminal in the UK, valued at about 2 billion British pounds ($2.69 billion), Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing a source familiar with the matter.

CK was in the process of negotiating final terms of a deal, with a potential deal expected in the coming days, the news outlet recently reported. The firm was competing with a group led by Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, according to the Tuesday report.

National Grid ( NGG ) and CK didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
