11:55 AM EDT, 08/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CME Group ( CME ) and S&P Global Inc. ( SPGI ) are exploring a sale of their joint venture offering post-trade services in the foreign exchange and derivatives markets, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The JV, called OSTTRA, could be valued at $2 billion to $4 billion, including debt, depending on how a deal is structured, Bloomberg reported, citing the people.
CME Group ( CME ) declined MT Newswires' request for comment.
S&P Global ( SPGI ) didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
