05:17 PM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Coinbase Global ( COIN ) has dropped plans to buy BVNK in a transaction previously valued at about $2 billion, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing a company spokesperson.

The parties mutually agreed not to proceed after holding discussions on the potential acquisition, the spokesperson reportedly said.

Talks had reached an advanced stage last month, pending due diligence, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Coinbase and BVNK did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
