08:06 AM EDT, 03/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Compass (COMP) is in talks to acquire Berkshire Hathaway's ( BRK/A ) (BRK.A, BRK.B) HomeServices of America real-estate brokerage business, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A deal for the 5,400-employee company could be reached soon, The Journal reported.

Compass and HomeServices of America did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
