Market Chatter: Dana Considers Selling Off-Highway Business
Oct 21, 2024 4:15 AM

06:50 AM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dana (DAN) is exploring the sale of its off-highway business unit, which supplies drive and motion systems for heavy vehicles in various sectors, Bloomberg reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The report said that the potential sale could be worth several billion dollars and is in the early stages, with no guarantee it will happen.

The source said the Ohio-based company is working with advisers on the potential divestment.

It added that any sale could leave Dana focused on passenger vehicles, making it appealing to other automotive suppliers.

Dana did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
