Market Chatter: Dell Technologies Announces New Computers With Neural Processing Units to Boost AI Task Performance

01:54 PM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dell Technologies ( DELL ) has launched a new range of personal computers with neural processing units to support speedy delivery of artificial intelligence tasks, Bloomberg reported Monday, quoting Chief Executive Michael Dell.

Michael Dell was quoted as saying in an interview that the company will deliver these computers "in volume this year" and "it will be pretty standard" by 2025

The computers will include a dedicated key to run Microsoft's ( MSFT ) AI Copilot service, Dell executives reportedly told Bloomberg.

Neither Dell nor Microsoft ( MSFT ) immediately responded to MT Newswires' request for comment.
