03:38 PM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dell Technologies ( DELL ) has set up tens of thousands of graphics processing units to support Elon Musk's large-scale artificial intelligence project in Memphis, Tennessee, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing Dell COO Jeff Clarke's interview.

Musk's startup xAI is creating a facility to develop advanced AI tools, and major hardware providers like Nvidia ( NVDA ) , Dell, and Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) will reportedly establish operations in the city for the project.

Dell, xAI, Nvidia ( NVDA ) and Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
