Market Chatter: Deutsche Bank Hires Young Huh to Lead Investment Banking Coverage, Advisory in Korea

06:47 AM EDT, 06/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Bank AG ( DB ) has appointed Jae Young Huh as head of investment banking coverage and advisory in Korea, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing a memo.

Young Huh will work with Ohseung Kwon, who leads mergers and acquisitions in Korea, to help grow investment banking operations in the country, according to the report.

Young Huh was most recently chief executive officer of the Nature Company and JangCha, Bloomberg said, adding that he previously led coverage, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market deals at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. ( GS ) in Korea.

He also worked in debt capital markets at Goldman Sachs ( GS ) in Hong Kong, and with Citigroup Inc.'s ( C ) investment banking team in Korea, the report said.

Deutsche Bank ( DB ) confirmed the hire in an email to MT Newswires.
