02:10 PM EDT, 07/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Walt Disney ( DIS ) is planning to eliminate about 140 jobs, or 2% of its staff, at Disney Entertainment Television, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The cuts will impact the NatGeo and Freeform networks the most, as well as ABC stations, Bloomberg reported.
