A deal may conclude in the coming months, though talks might fall through, the report said.

The nonprofit electricity cooperative serves 60 data centers in Northern Virginia's Data Center Alley, a major hub for computing facilities.

Dominion Energy ( D ) and Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
