03:09 PM EDT, 05/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Former US President Donald Trump is considering Tesla (TSLA) Chief Executive Elon Musk for an advisory role if the presumptive Republican nominee returns to the White House, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The men met in March and discussed the possibility of Musk having a say in policies related to border security and the economy, the report said, citing some of the people.

Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
