06:06 AM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly and Company ( LLY ) said the response from the Indian market for its diabetes and weight-loss drug Mounjaro has been "positive", Reuters reported Friday.

Lilly has sold more than 81,570 Mounjaro units in the South Asian country, Reuters reported, citing data from PharmaTrac.

Eli Lilly ( LLY ) did not immediately respond to MTNewswires' request for a copy of the statement.
