Sep 17, 2025 6:36 AM

06:57 AM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly ( LLY ) plans to use its US consumer-focused commercial strategy for weight-loss drugs in global market expansion, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing an interview with Patrik Jonsson, president of Lilly International.

Jonsson said the company is forging deals with telehealth and digital platforms to sell to patients who are paying out-of-pocket for the drugs. Lilly has established itself as the market leader in obesity drugs in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, according to Reuters reported.
