07:11 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly ( LLY ) sales of weight-loss and diabetes drug Mounjaro rose 60% in India in May from April, Bloomberg News reported Saturday, citing Pharmarack Technologies data.

The US drugmaker sold 126 million Indian rupees ($1.5 million) of the injections during the month, with sales of its 5-milligram version more than doubling to roughly 75 million rupees, according to the report.

Lilly did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
