04:14 PM EDT, 03/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Encyclopaedia Britannica is eyeing a valuation of $1 billion in its initial public offering, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

The company is working with advisers and may make the offering as soon as June, the report said.

The terms have not been finalized. and deliberations can result in changes to listing details, including valuation and timing, the report said.

Encyclopaedia Britannica did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
