09:28 AM EST, 11/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eni (E) has agreed to cancel 21 liquefied natural gas cargoes to Pakistan under its long-term supply contract, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing an official document and people familiar with the matter.
The cancellations are part of Islamabad's plan to reduce excess LNG imports that have oversupplied its gas network, the report said.
The agreement was made under flexibility provisions in the contract with Pakistan which runs through 2032, according to the report.
Eni did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
