12:54 PM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- EQT (EQT) is in discussions to secure a supply of liquefied natural gas from NextDecade's ( NEXT ) Rio Grande export terminal, which is currently under construction in Brownsville, Texas, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

EQT declined to comment, and a NextDecade ( NEXT ) spokesperson didn't immediately respond to a request for comment, the report said.

EQT shares fell 0.9% in Wednesday trading, and NextDecade ( NEXT ) jumped 7.7%.
