03:03 PM EDT, 08/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Evercore ( EVR ) has hired Lars Ingemarsson, Citigroup's ( C ) head of Nordic investment banking, to spearhead its expansion in the region, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Ingemarsson is set to take over as head of the Nordics in November, joined by Citi director Kristoffer Elshult, as Evercore ( EVR ) prepares to establish its first Stockholm office, the people reportedly said.

Additionally, the moves come amid further exits from Citigroup's ( C ) Nordic team, with managing director Casper Elnegaard scheduled to return to JPMorgan Chase ( JPM ) in October.

Evercore ( EVR ) and Citigroup ( C ) didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
