10:45 AM EST, 11/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) has agreed to sell conventional oil-drilling assets in the Permian Basin to Hilcorp Energy for about $1 billion, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing four sources familiar with the matter.

Exxon Mobil ( XOM ) and Hilcorp did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
