04:28 PM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- A fire at Exxon Mobil's ( XOM ) Port Jerome-Gravenchon refinery in northern France is now under control after a gasoline distillation unit caught fire on Monday, Reuters reported on the same day, citing local authorities.

It was too early to estimate the impact of the fire on the refinery's production, an ExxonMobil ( XOM ) spokeswoman told Reuters.

Exxon did not immediately respond to a request for comment by MT Newswires.
