08:33 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- A delegation of US executives, which includes FedEx ( FDX ) and Boeing ( BA ) executives, are expected to meet senior officials in China this week, Reuters reported Monday, citing two sources with knowledge of the matter.

The trip, which was organized by the US-China Business Council, coincides with the latest round of US-China trade negotiations that are being held in Sweden between Sunday and Wednesday, Reuters said.

The delegation will be led by FedEx ( FDX ) Chief Executive Rajesh Subramaniam, according to the report.

China is currently facing an Aug. 12 deadline to secure a trade deal with the US, Reuters said.

FedEx ( FDX ), Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
