07:02 AM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor Company ( F ) is recalling 101,944 Taurus sedans from model years 2016 through 2019 in the US due to a defect that could cause door trims to detach while driving, Reuters reported Friday, citing the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The detached trim pieces could fall and cause a road hazard, the auto safety regulator reportedly said, adding that Ford dealers will inspect the affected vehicles and repair or replace the trim as needed for free.
Ford did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
