01:39 PM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ford Motor ( F ) is requiring most of its salaried employees to work from the office four days a week, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing a company spokesperson.

"We believe working together in person on a day-to-day basis will help accelerate Ford's transformation into a higher growth, higher margin, less cyclical and more dynamic company," the spokesperson said, according to Reuters.

Employees were notified of the new policy on Wednesday, and it takes effect Sept. 1, the report said.
