The issue involves specific 2020-2021 Ford Explorer and Aviator models where the anchor bolts for the seat belt buckles may not be fastened correctly, the media outlet reported.
To address the problem, service centers will check the bolts and replace any required parts, Reuters reported, citing the NHTSA statement.
Ford and NHTSA did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
