Market Chatter: Foreign-Branded Phone Shipments in China Drop YOY in February

05:23 AM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Shipments of foreign-branded mobile phones, including Apple's ( AAPL ) iPhones, in China dropped 7.7% year over year in February, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing China Academy of Information and Communications Technology data.

Shipments of foreign-branded phones within China reached 2.4 million units last month, according to the report.

Apple ( AAPL ) didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
