07:21 AM EDT, 05/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) supplier Foxconn said Tuesday that it is building a 100 megawatt artificial intelligence center in collaboration with Nvidia ( NVDA ) , Reuters reported.

Foxconn Chairman Young Liu announced the project during a trade show in Taipei, the report said.

"We know that power is a very critical resource in Taiwan," he was quoted as saying, "so it will take a few steps to reach 100 megawatts. We'll start with 20 megawatts...then add another 40."
