09:48 AM EST, 02/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Freeport-McMoRan ( FCX ) will resume copper concentrate shipments from Indonesia this week in anticipation of obtaining a new export license to replace its prior license that lapsed last month, Reuters reported Thursday, citing two people with knowledge of the matter.

The company plans to start loading pre-sold cargoes heading to China on Friday, while a shipment from its mine in Grasberg is expected to depart later this month, the report said.

Freeport-McMoRan ( FCX ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
