06:45 AM EDT, 08/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Goldman Sachs ( GS ) is looking to acquire a stake in Nestle's Froneri ice cream joint venture at a valuation of 15 billion euros ($17.12 billion), including debt, the Financial Times reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The Swiss consumer goods giant holds the joint venture alongside private equity firm PAI, which has established a continuation vehicle for the holding, the publication reported.
Goldman would become the lead investor in the vehicle, with a deal with PAI expected to be announced as early as September, the FT reported, citing a source.
Nestle declined to comment, while Goldman, Froneri, and PAI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
