09:27 AM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Goldman Sachs ( GS ) and LG Electronics are expected to sell new high-grade bonds on Thursday, with PNC Financial Services ( PNC ) and Bank of New York Mellon ( BK ) likely to raise capital in the primary market, Bloomberg News reported, citing an informal survey of debt underwriters.
Goldman Sachs ( GS ) is seeking to raise around $4 billion of additional capital following its sale on Tuesday of $2.25 billion in perpetual notes, the report said.
LG Electronics started marketing a two-parter that will price during New York business hours, Bloomberg said, adding that the company garnered $9.3 billion of book orders in one night after the announcement.
None of the companies immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
Weekly high-grade bond sales so far are at $24.95 billion and April volume stands at $69.13 billion, Bloomberg said.
