03:10 PM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Goldman Sachs' ( GS ) asset management unit is leading a syndicate planning to provide around 750 million British pounds ($974.4 million) to UK-based environmental advisory SLR Consulting, Bloomberg reported Monday.

SLR, which is owned by Ares Management, is looking to refinance an existing private credit, sources told Bloomberg. The parties have yet to sign a deal and agree on the size.

Goldman Sachs ( GS ) and Ares declined Bloomberg's requests for comment.

Ares also declined MT Newswires' request for comment, while Goldman Sachs ( GS ) did not immediately reply.
