06:43 AM EDT, 08/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Goldman Sachs ( GS ) has opened a new office in the Indian capital of Mumbai, expanding its presence in the country, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing Kevin Sneader, the company's Asia Pacific ex-Japan president.

"Our new Mumbai office is the next chapter in our multi-decade growth trajectory in India, underscoring the substantial opportunities we see in the market," the report added, citing Sneader as saying in a statement.

Goldman did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
