Market Chatter: Goldman Sachs Planning to Promote Largest Partner Group Since CEO Solomon Took Over
Nov 5, 2024 7:39 AM

10:09 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Goldman Sachs ( GS ) is planning to add the most employees to its partnership since Chief Executive David Solomon took over, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter.

The promotions to partner, which are expected to be announced this week, will be more than in 2022, which was the previous high of CEO Solomon era, the report said, adding that 80 people were promoted to partner that year.

About 400 Goldman employees are part of the partner group, which is less than 1% of the company's staff, the report said.

Goldman didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
