09:13 AM EST, 11/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Goldman Sachs Group ( GS ) is in talks with potential partners as it plans to spin-out its digital assets platform into a new company, Bloomberg reported Monday, citing an interview with Goldman's global head of digital assets, Mathew McDermott.

The long-term goal for the new company is to execute the spin-out within the next 12 to 18 months, subject to regulatory approvals, McDermott told Bloomberg.
