06:01 AM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Google ( GOOG ) is nearing a deal to acquire Canadian eye-tracking tech firm AdHawk Microsystems for $115 million, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

The total sum includes $15 million in performance-based payouts dependent on AdHawk meeting specific targets, the media outlet said.

The transaction is expected to close in roughly one week, but it could still fall through as it has not yet been finalized, Bloomberg quoted the sources as saying.

Both Google ( GOOG ) and AdHawd did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
