The UK's Information Commissioner's Office says that Google's ( GOOG ) proposed Privacy Sandbox technology remains vulnerable to privacy violations and can be used to identify individuals.
The ICO is sharing its concerns with the UK's Competition and Markets Authority, which is overseeing Google's ( GOOG ) efforts to get rid of activity-tracking cookies in its dominant Chrome browser worldwide, according to the report.
Google ( GOOG ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
